Leonard Green & Partners and TPG Capital have agreed to acquire Savers Inc., a Bellevue, Wash.-based thrift store chain operator, from Freeman Spogli & Co. No financial terms were disclosed, except that Savers generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Savers is expected to have more than 300 stores by year-end, throughout the U.S.

AOD Software, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based provider of software and technology solutions to the long term care industry, has raised an undisclosed amount of growth equity funding led by Primus

American Auto Auction Group, a portfolio company of Baird Capital Partners, has acquired Badger State Auto Auctions Inc., a Fond Du Lac, Wis.-based dealer consignment auctioneer. No financial terms were disclosed, except that US Bank National Association and Northwestern Mutual Capital provided

New Mountain Capital has completed its previously-announced acquisition of AmWINS Group Inc., a Charlotte, N.C.-based wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products and services, from Parthenon Capital. The deal was valued at approximately $1.3 billion.

Sun Capital Partners has acquired Elix Polymers SL, a Spain-based maker of specialty thermoplastic resins, from Ineos AG. No financial terms were disclosed.

XL Marketing Corp., a New York-based digital and direct marketing company, has raised $70 million in private financing. GCP Capital Partners led the equity tranche, while Madison Capital Funding agented a debt facility.
