Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) has confirmed reports that it plans to buy Buddy Media, a New York–based provider of social media management software. The deal is valued at around $689 million in cash and stock, and will close next quarter. Zillow Inc. (Nasdaq: Z) has completed its previously-announced $40 million cash acquisition ofRentJuice Corp., a San Francisco-based online real-time data platform for real estate professionals.
