Explore Learning Ltd., a British provider of tutoring services, may be sold for upwards of £50 million to private equity firms, according to the Sunday Telegraph. Suitors reportedly include Bowmark Capital and Inflexion.

National Educational Music Co., a portfolio company of MidCap Equity Partners, has acquired Citi Music Center, a band and orchestra musical instrument rental company serving the New Jersey Market. No financial terms were disclosed. www.citymusiccenter.com

PAI Partners has dropped out of the auction for frozen foods company Iglo Foods Group Ltd., which is being sold by Permira for upwards of €3 billion, according to Reuters. The Blackstone Group and BC Partners remain in the process. www.permira.com

Personable Insurance, an auto insurer owned by Excellere Partners, has acquired Endeavor General Agency LLC, a personal automobile managing general agency operating in Texas. No financial terms were disclosed. www.excellerepartners.com

Thomas H. Lee Partners has agreed to acquire Fogo de Chão Churrascaria, a Dallas-based operator of fine-dining restaurants in the U.S. and Brazil, from GP Investments. No financial terms were disclosed. www.thl.com

Vector Capital has offered to buy upwards of 30% in Technicolor (Paris: TCH) for up to €186 million, in a capital raise offer that bests an existing offer from J.P. Morgan by around 30 cents per share. www.technicolor.com
