Fotolia, a New York-based provider of digital stock photography, has secured $150 million in growth equity funding from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., in exchange for a 50% stake. The Carlyle Group and TPG Capital are considering making separate bids for the pump and compressor manufacturing unit of United Technology Corp. (NYSE: UTX), according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at between $3.5 billion and $4 million.
