Fotolia, a New York-based provider of digital stock photography, has secured $150 million in growth equity funding from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., in exchange for a 50% stake. Some of the shares came from existing Fotolia shareholder TA Associates, which will retain a minority position. The company also secured $150 million in senior financing.

The Carlyle Group and TPG Capital are considering making separate bids for the pump and compressor manufacturing unit of United Technology Corp. (NYSE: UTX), according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at between $3.5 billion and $4 million.

Silver Creek Oil & Gas LLC, an Irving, Texas-based oil and gas E&P company, has secured $100 million in private equity funding from Crestview Capital and existing shareholder Sunray Capital.
