General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has agreed to acquire IPWireless, a San Francisco-based provider of 3G and 4G LTE wireless broadband network equipment and solutions for first-responder and military customers. No pricing terms of the all-cash deal were disclosed. IPWireless had raised over $155 million in VC funding before being acquired in 2007 for around $100 million by NextWave Wireless. The company’s founders bought IPWirelessback one year later, after which it raised $15.5 million from Spark Capital, Lockheed-Martin Corp. and Northrup Grumann Corp.
