Just-Eat, a London-based ordering service for take-out food, has raised $64 million in Series C funding. Vitruvian Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Greylock Partners, Index Ventures and Redpoint Ventures. The company previously raised more than $50 million. www.just-eat.com
NanoH2O Inc., an El Segundo, Calif.-based developer of reverse osmosis membranes for water desalination and reuse, has raised $40 million in new equity funding. BASF Venture Capital, Total Energy Ventures and Keytone Ventures co-led the round, which also included return backers Khosla Ventures, Oak Investment Partners, CalPERS Clean Energy & Technology Fund and PCG Clean Energy & Technology Fund. In a related transaction, NanoH2O secured $20.5 million in new credit facilities from Comerica Bank and Lighthouse Capital Partners. www.nanoh2o.com
Boulder Ionics Corp., an Arvada, Colo.-based developer of a synthesis platform for producing ionic liquid electrolytes for use in energy storage devices, has raised $4.3 million in Series A funding.
