CrowdStrike, a security tech startup focused on protecting IP and national security information, has raised $26 million in Series A funding from Warburg Pincus. The company is run by George Kurtz, former CEO of Foundstone and CTO of McAfee, who recently joined Warburg Pincus as an executive-in-residence. The company’s CTO is Dmitri Alperovitch, former VP of threat research at McAfee. www.crowdstrike.com

Collegium Pharmaceutical Inc., a Cumberland, R.I.-based drug startup focused on treatments for chronic pain, has raised $22.5 million in Series B funding. Longitude Capital and Skyline Ventures co-led the round, and were joined by return backers Frazier Healthcare Ventures and Boston Millennia Partners. www.collegiumpharma.com

EnerVault Corp., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of very large electric energy storage systems, has raised $15.5 million in Series B funding. Backers include Mitsui Global Investment, Total Energy Ventures, 3M Co., TEL Venture Capital, Commercial Energy of California, Oceanshore Ventures and US Invest LLC. www.enervault.com

Satori Pharmaceuticals, a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, has raised $15 million in new financing from existing backers InterWest Partners, New Enterprise Associates Inc. and Prospect Venture Partners. www.satoripharma.com

Vascular Magnetics Inc., a Philadelphia-based developer of a magnetically-targeted drug delivery system for the treatment of peripheral artery disease, has raised $7 million in Series A funding from Devon Park Bioventures. www.vascularmagnetics.com

Restorando, an online reservation platform for restaurants in Latin America, has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding. Emergence Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by Kaszek, Atomico and Storm Ventures. www.restorando.com

Halfpenny Technologies Inc., a Blue Bell, Penn.-based provider of clinical data integration solutions, has raised $2.25 million in new VC funding. Vital Financial and  Emerald Stage2 Ventures co-led the round, and were joined by return backers Osage Venture Partners, Milestone Venture Partners and LORE Associates. www.halfpenny.com

InVision, a New York-based developer of prototyping software for web and mobile app developers, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding led by FirstMark Capital. www.invisionapp.com

Skytree Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based analytics and machine learning startup, has raised $1.5 million in Series A funding from Javelin Venture Partners. www.skytreecorp.com

Schoology, a New York-based developer of a free, cloud-based collaborative learning platform for K-12 classrooms, has raised $1 million in funding Cempaka Schools in Malaysia. The two companies also have formed a partnership to promote the usage of Schoology’s platform in Malaysia and Singapore school systems. www.schoology.com

ResearchGate, a Cambridge, Mass.-based professional network for scientists and researchers, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding. Founders Fund led the round, and was joined by Benchmark Capital, Accel Partners, Michael Birch (Bebo co-founder) and David Sacks (Yammer CEO). www.researchgate.com
