CircuLite, a Saddle Brook, N.J.-based maker of implantable blood pumps for long-term use in heart failure patients, has raised $30 million in Series D funding. MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings and return backer Forbion Capital Partners co-led the round, and were joined by Crédit Agricole Private Equity, Saints Capital, Foundation Medical Partners and SB Life Science Ventures. ArGen-X, a developer of human monoclonal antibodies, has raised €27.5 million in Series B funding. OrbiMed Advisors and Seventure Partners co-led the round, and were joined by return backers Forbion Capital Partners, Credit Agricole Private Equity, LSP, BioGeneration Ventures, Erasmus Biomedical Fund, Thuja Capital and VIB.
