For a brief few moments, the new Appstore was available for the world to see.
AndroidNews.de happened upon a somewhat obvious amazon.com/apps URL yesterday and found a treasure trove of information on the new Amazon (AMZN) Appstore. (The URL has since been pointed to amazon.com)
Inside, the German site found 50 applications which they had time to put in a spreadsheet and compare to Google’s (GOOG) Android Market. Often, Amazon beat the Android Market in prices and in a few cases, Amazon had exclusive rights to distribute the software.
Android News noted the following titles (but many more are on their site): Zenonia, Raging Thunder II, SetCPU, The Moron Test and SwiftKey.
With these leaks it seems pretty clear that the store Amazon’s Appstore is set to go. Expect a public unveiling in the next few weeks.
