“More of the same.” That’s the prediction for economic growth in 2016 from the CEO of Sealed Air, the maker of Bubble Wrap. Jerome Peribere tells Fortune’s Susie Gharib that he expects the global economy to muddle along in the New Year, “so we shouldn’t be pessimistic.”

Reflecting on Sealed Air’s operations in 175 countries, Peribere ticked off his economic expectations around the world. He sees China’s economy stabilizing and expects “better growth than in ’15.” In Latin America, Brazil, is “likely to improve,” there’s some growth in Argentina, and Venezuela has another “difficult year.” As for the U.S., Peribere’s forecast is “a good season, especially in e-commerce.”
