Can Irene Rosenfeld fend off another powerful activist investor? The CEO of Mondelez International talks with Fortune’s Susie Gharib about how the snack food company is dealing with a feisty new shareholder—Bill Ackman. Recently, Ackman’s hedge fund Pershing Square Capital bought a 7.5% stake in the company. No word yet on what Ackman is planning, but Rosenfeld defends her company’s “excellent record” and vows to continue focusing on growing profits and revenues.

Just a year ago, Rosenfeld diffused a challenge from activist investor Nelson Peltz of Trian Fund Management. She added him to the Mondelez board and pushed ahead with a plan to cut costs. Does Rosenfeld have another fight in her? She says, “This is not about fights. This is about doing what’s right for our shareholders.”
