This Is the Best Time to Do Your Online Holiday Shopping by Michal Addady @FortuneMagazine October 28, 2016, 4:24 PM EST E-mail Tweet Facebook Linkedin Share icons Contrary to popular belief, Cyber Monday is not necessarily the best day to save money on online holiday shopping. According to data released by Adobe Digital Insights on Thursday, the best time shop on the web varies based on what you want to buy. The report looked at 80% of all online transactions from the top 100 U.S. retailers to determine which days you’re likely to save the most money. The report predicts that most items will be at their savings peak on Thanksgiving Day—you should be able to save 10% on jewelry 12% on appliances, 13% on computers, 14% on sporting goods, 18% on tablets, and 20% on televisions. You’ll likely find the best prices on clothing a couple of days earlier, on Nov. 22, when Adobe estimates you’ll be able to save 20% on apparel. The Monday after Thanksgiving, otherwise known as Cyber Monday, will be your best bet to save 13% on toys. The next day you should be able to save 10% on furniture and bedding. For holiday decorations, savings are expected to reach a peak 25% on Black Friday.
