The poll focuses on Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. No candidate has won the presidency without taking at least two of these three swing states in over 50 years, the poll’s findings state. The poll pitted Democrat and Republican candidates against one another in head-to-head match ups. The results showed that voters in all three states preferred Biden to Trump; he won by 3 points in Florida, 10 points in Ohio, and 8 points in Pennsylvania. He seems to be competition for the other two Republican candidates in the poll as well, winning Ohio against both Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio. Biden performed better than Clinton in the poll overall. He received more support in almost every head-to-head category than she did, except for one in which they received the same percentage of votes. The poll also asked about candidates’ favorability and whether or not they find them to be honest and trustworthy. Biden came out on top of both Clinton and Trump in both of these categories.
