When Philip Quade, a former National Security Agency cyber task force senior exec, joined cybersecurity firm Fortinet as its first chief information security officer last year, it was yet another indicator that companies are muscling up in the cyberwars. Fortinet’s customers include the Nasdaq stock exchange, Panasonic, and the Boston Red Sox. Future growth may be driven by Fortigate, the company’s next-generation group of physical and cloud security solutions.
