100 Best Workplaces for Women

See our methodology and credits

Published together with our partner Great Place to Work, the 100 Best Workplaces for Women rankings are based entirely upon feedback from more than 137,762 women at Great Place to Work–Certified companies.

Women completed our anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace, including, for example, their assessment of how fairly they're treated regardless of gender, the quality and authenticity of communications with managers, and equitable pay and promotion practices.

Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 6% or less. Winning a spot on this list indicates the company has distinguished itself from peers by being a great place to work for women, and has a workplace where women have high representation in the total employee population and in management positions. The 100 companies with the highest employee ratings and female representation were selected for the list.

Employees say:

“The company is open about how the business is doing and encourages everyone to feel like their personal work affects the company as a whole. People here take care of each other. When I was working at a store earlier this year, when co-workers were on leave because of surgeries or having children, everyone would pitch in to not only do things to make them feel special, but also volunteer to cook meals for the co-worker and their family. Everyone matters here. At the home office, you can be a part-time phone agent or a Vice President, but everyone gives and receives the same level of respect.”

“The team is made of great, hard-working people. We are all supported by one another and management. We receive ample training that is ongoing. Communication is always great. I feel well-informed on everything. It is a very positive environment which starts in the break room with huddle, and filters onto the sales floor.”
