100 Best Workplaces for Women

See our methodology and credits

Published together with our partner Great Place to Work, the 100 Best Workplaces for Women rankings are based entirely upon feedback from more than 137,762 women at Great Place to Work–Certified companies.

Women completed our anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace, including, for example, their assessment of how fairly they're treated regardless of gender, the quality and authenticity of communications with managers, and equitable pay and promotion practices.

Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 6% or less. Winning a spot on this list indicates the company has distinguished itself from peers by being a great place to work for women, and has a workplace where women have high representation in the total employee population and in management positions. The 100 companies with the highest employee ratings and female representation were selected for the list.

Employees say:

“Baird is special for so many reasons. The top ways Baird is unique: 1) The company is still very flat and entrepreneurial—people at all levels can easily get involved in multiple aspects of the business and make a difference. 2) There is an environment of mutual respect, always. Our team specifically has an open environment where I feel that people can challenge views in a healthy, collegial way that results in ultimately better decision-making.”

“Baird has a way of making you feel as though you are part of a team. You are treated as if you are equal to everyone, no matter what your position is. People are genuine, and ALWAYS supportive and grateful of your efforts. You don’t find that caliber of people just anywhere. Baird does an outstanding job of bringing talented and professional people here.”
