Apple Goes Red With Special Edition iPhone 7

Mar 21, 2017

There's a new iPhone about to hit store shelves.

Apple announced on Tuesday that it will begin selling an all-red special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on March 24. The handset comes with the same features and design as the original iPhone 7 models—very much still available to purchase—and starts at $749.

When customers buy (PRODUCT)RED Apple (aapl) devices, the company donates an unknown dollar amount directly to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Apple has been offering (PRODUCT)RED devices—notable for their red designs—for a decade. The company has donated more than $130 million through the program.
