How do you kick off your mornings? Hit snooze, doze off, hit snooze again, repeat a few more times, before finally rolling out of bed? (Same.)
But in honor of the impending new year, perhaps it’s time for a more efficient start. With that in mind, we turned to productivity expert Tim Ferriss to see how he starts the day.
Unsurprisingly, he accomplishes a lot. While there’s no mention of an ignored alarm, his first 60 waking minutes do include: a 20-minute meditation session, tea with two tablespoons of coconut oil or powered MCT oil, followed by a contemplative journaling session. (If you’re wondering, MCT oil is a concentrated version of the fatty acids in coconut oil and other natural foods).

Yes, it seems—ambitious.
