Mean Girls Fans Are Arguing About Their Own Election

Nov 08, 2016

In Mean Girls world, Election Day comes down to just two issues: voting for Regina because she got hit by a bus or voting for Cady because she pushed her.

As fans of the 2004 cult movie await election results in the 2016 race for president between Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton or Republican candidate Donald Trump, they're passing the time by Tweeting about another important race: Rachel McAdams' Regina George competing against Lindsay Lohan's Cady Heron for the title of Spring Fling Queen.

Most of the votes appear to be in favor of George.

Still, others showed favor for Heron because she caused the accident.

Polls are starting to close across the U.S. in the race for president. But—spoiler alert—Cady was crowned Spring Fling Queen.
