You can learn some new tricks watching the 60-second ad Apple (AAPL) debuted Sunday night, such as how to use an iPhone to take a child’s temperature, monitor a baby’s crib or track down a lost dog (monitor, thermometer and GPS collar tag not included).

The video is called Parenthood. It’s part of Apple’s “You’re more powerful than you think” series, and it’s accompanied by a page on Apple.com with links to the 11 apps featured in the film.
