Video: In 84 seconds, the best of Macworld/iWorld 2014

FORTUNE -- For my money, the best thing these days about Macworld/iWorld (the event) is the panel of writers and editors Macworld (the magazine) pulls together each year to discuss the future of Apple (aapl).

If, like me, you couldn't make it to this week's expo, the attached video from Thursday's panel may have to do.

It's a compilation of soundbites from some of the smartest Apple watchers in the business: Jason Snell (@jsnell), Ben Bajarin (@BenBajarin), Rene Ritchie (@reneritche), Christina Bonnington (@redgirlsays) and Dan Moren (@dmoren).

To get the ball rolling, Snell offered a talking point straight out of CNBC: "Apple must release a smart watch in 60 days... or it's all over!"
