Immune Design, a Seattle-based developer of immune-based therapies for cancer and other chronic conditions, has secured up to $49 million in Series C funding, including a $32.5 million upfront investment. Topspin Partners and existing backer The Column Group led the round, and were joined by Sanofi-Genzyme BioVentures and insiders Alta Partners, Versant Ventures, Osage Partners and ProQuest Investments. www.immunedesign.com

CVRx Inc., a Minneapolis-based developer of an implantable system designed to treat hypertension and heart failure, has raised $12 million in new Series F funding. New investors included Ysios Capital andDaVita HealthCare Partners. The round total is now $40 million, including earlier commitments from New Enterprise Associates, Johnson &Johnson Development Corp., BBT Fund and SightLine Partners.www.cvrx.com

Harvest Automation, a North Billerica, Mass.-based agricultural robotics company, has raised $11.75 million in Series C funding. Mousse Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Life Science Partners, Cultivian, Founder Collective, Entrée Capital and MassVentures. www.harvestai.com

Securus Medical Group Inc., a Cleveland-based developer of a thermal measurement device for use during surgery, has raised $6.5 million in Series B funding. 3X5 Special Opportunity Fund led the round, and was joined by the University of Michigan Investment in New Technology Startups program and return backer RiverVest Venture Partners.

Revenew, a Palatine, Ill.-based local marketing network for national brands, has raised $5 million in Series B funding. Allos Ventures led the round, and was joined by TGap Ventures and Illinois Ventures.www.revenew.com

9Lenses, a Leesburg, Va.-based provider of organization intelligence software, has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding from Kinetic Ventures, Icon Venture Partners and the Corporate Executive Board Company. www.9lenses.com

Trustev, an Irish startup that verifies the identity of online shoppers, has raised $3 million in seed funding. Backers include Greycroft Partners, Mangrove Capital Partners, ACT Venture Capital, Telefónica’s Wayra, and Enterprise Ireland. www.trustev.com

Adaptive Planning, a San Francisco-based provider of SaaS solutions for enterprise performance management, said that Salesforce.com has joined a previously-announced $45 million Series D round. Existing backers include Bessemer Venture Partners, Onset Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, RBC Venture Partners, Cardinal Venture Capital and Monitor Ventures.
