MongoDB, a NoSQL database company with dual headquarters in New York and Palo Alto, has raised $150 million in new VC funding. T. Rowe Price led the round, and was joined by Altimeter Capital, and return backers investors Intel Capital, New Enterprise Associates, Red Hat and Sequoia Capital. It previously raised around $73 million.

Boreal Genomics, a Los Altos, Calif.-based developer of technology for non-invasive genomic profiling of tumors from the blood plasma of cancer patients, has raised $18 million in Series C funding. Return backers included Arch Venture Partners and Kearny Venture

PharmAkea Therapeutics Inc.
, a San Diego–based small-molecule drug discovery company focused on cancer and fibrotic diseases, has raised $10 million in Series A funding from Bay City Capital. The company also has secured $35 million from Celgene Corp. (Nasdaq: CELG), as part of a three-year strategic partnership that includes an option for Celgene to buy the company.

, a Singapore-based social payments platform, has raised $3 million in Series A funding from Jungle Ventures, Spring Seeds Capital and Funding the Future.

Silk, a Dutch provider of a cloud-based data publishing platform, has raised $1.6 million in new seed funding from New Enterprise
