MobileIron, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of mobile IT security and management solutions for apps, content and devices, has raised $47.5 million in Series F funding, according to a regulatory filing. Past backers have included Institutional Venture Partners, Foundation Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital and Storm Ventures. The company previously raised nearly $100 million.www.mobileiron.com

Okta, a San Francisco-based provider of identity management services for the enterprise, has raised $27 million in Series D funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by fellow return backers Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners and Khosla Ventures. www.okta.com

Egalet Ltd.
, a Malvern, Penn.-based abuse-deterrent oral products for the treatment of pain and other indications,, has raised up to $20 million in new funding led by Index Ventures. The deal is structured with an immediate $10 million call-down and a $10 million option based on the achievement of certain milestones. www.egalet.com

Upworthy, a viral news site founded by former staffers at MoveOn.org and The Onion, has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Spark Capital led the round, and was joined by Catamount Ventures, Uprising and The Knight Foundation. www.upworthy.com

Convo, a San Francisco-based provider of cloud-based collaboration services, has raised $5 million in Series A funding from Morgenthaler Ventureswww.convo.com

Zipments, a New York-based marketplace for same-day deliveries, has raised $2.25 million in seed funding. FirstMark Capital and Huron River Ventures co-led the round, and were joined by The Windquest Group, New York City Economic Development Corp., Chicago Ventures and individual angels. www.zipments.com
