Argos Therapeutics Inc., a Durham, N.C.-based developer of immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases, has raised $42.5 million in Series E funding. Russian drug companyPharmstandard International led the round, and was joined by Green Cross Corp. (Korea: 006280) and return backers Forbion Capital, TVM Capital, Lumira Capital, Intersouth Partners, Caisse de depot et placement de Quebec, Morningside Group and Aurora Funds.

Couchbase, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of NoSQL database technology, has raised $25 million in Series D funding. Adams Street Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Accel Partners, Mayfield Fund, North Bridge Venture Partners and Ignition

Camera360, a Chinese provider of a mobile camera app for iPhone and Android, has raised $18 million in Series B funding. Susquehanna International Group China led the round, and was joined by return backers Gobi Partners and Matrix Partners.

Martini Media
, a San Francisco-based digital media platform for engaging affluent influencers, has raised $14 million in new VC funding from return backers Venrock, Granite Ventures, Reed Elsevier Ventures and Silicon Valley

, a Chicago-based customer loyalty and marketing platform, has raised an initial tranche of $12.1 million Series B-1 funding. Backers include New Enterprise Associates, Andreessen Horowitz, DAG Ventures, Lightbank, Cisco and 7-Ventures.

WaterSmart Software
, a San Francisco-based provider of customer engagement solutions that help water utilities educate customers on conservation, has raised $4.5 million in Series A funding. The Westly Group led the round, and was joined byPhysic Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Apsara Capital.

ThingLink, a Finnish image tagging and linking startup, has raised $2 million in VC funding led byInventure

Ubimo, an Israeli developer of location-based mobile audience targeting solutions, has raised $2 million in seed funding led by Pitango Venture

Vastrm Fashion, a Burlingame, Calif.-based ecommerce company focused on made-to-order polo shirts, has raised $1 million in seed funding. Backers include Y Combinator, Columbus Nova Technology Partners, Quest Venture Partners, SV Angels, Will Smith, Ignition Partners, Andreessen Horowitz Seed Fund, General Catalyst Partners and Start Fund.

Get Real Health
, a Rockville, Md.-based provider of patient engagement software, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from TELUS Ventures.

InflowControl AS
, a Norwegian developer of inflow control technology, has raised an undisclosed amount of first-round funding from Saudi Aramco Energy
