Kony Solutions Inc., an Orlando, Fla.-based mobile and multi-channel application platform and packaged applications provider, has raised $18.3 million in Series D funding from Telstra Ventures.www.kony.com

Biba, a San Francisco-based mobile business app for conference calls and messaging, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. InterWest Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Benchmark and Trinity Ventures. www.biba.com

E la Carte, a San Francisco-based developer of customer-facing tablet computers for restaurants, has raised $13.5 million in Series B funding. Intel Capital led the round, and was joined by Romulus Capital. www.elacarte.com

Lastline, a Santa Barbara, Calif.–based provider of malware protection solutions for businesses, has raised $10 million in VC funding from Redpoint Ventures and return backer e.ventures. www.tllod.com

Civitas Learning, an Austin, Texas-based provider of predictive analytics for colleges and universities, has raised $8.75 million in new VC funding. Emergence Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by Felicis Ventures, New Markets Venture Partners and return backers  Austin Ventures, First Round Capital and Floodgate. www.civitaslearning.com

Watchwith Inc., a San Francisco-based sync-to-broadcast content management platform and syndication network, has raised $5 million in VC funding. Rogers Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers ARRIS (f.k.a. Motorola Mobility) and Gracenote. www.watchwith.com
