The Blackstone Group and Temasek Holdings are in separate talks to invest approximately $200 million into Shiram Ventures, the non-financial services unit of India’s Shriram Group, according to Reuters.

Lazada, an online shopping mall created by the Samwer brothers’ Rocket Internet, has raised $100 million in new equity funding. Verlinvest (Belgium) led the round, and was joined by return backers Holtzbrinck Ventures, Kinnevik, Summit Partners and Tengelmann Group.
