MapR Technologies Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based Hadoop technology company, has raised $30 million in Series C funding. Mayfield Fund led the round, and was joined by return backers Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates and Redpoint Ventures. The company previously raised $29 million.

ClearEdge Power, a Hillsboro, Ore.-based maker of distributed power systems, has raised $36 million in new equity funding from undisclosed investors. The company also has laid off 39% of its workforce, following its recent acquisition of Connecticut-based fuel cell maker UTC

VendAsta Technologies, a Saskatchewan-based provider of white-label digital brand management solutions, has raised C$8.25 million from Vanedge Capital and BDC Venture

Videdressing, a Paris-based “social fashion” marketplace, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Backers include Earlybird Venture Capital, DN Capital, Generis Capital and Piton

Sift Science, a machine learning startup focused on digital fraud prevention, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Union Square

Nonstop Games, a gaming startup with offices in Finland and Singapore, has raised $2.9 million in VC funding from Creandum and Lifeline

Namo Media, a mobile ad startup formed by ex-Google product manager Gabor Cselle, has raised $1.9 million in seed funding Google Ventures led the round, and was joined by Andreessen Horowitz, Betaworks, Trinity Ventures and individual angels.

Divshot, a Los Angeles-based drag-and-drop visual builder for responsive web applications, has raised $1.1 million in seed funding. Rincon Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by 500 Startups, Daher Capital, Floodlight Ventures, Cooley LLP, Drummond Road Capital and Eric
