FORTUNE — Millennium Media MM , the No. 3 mobile advertising platform after Apple AAPL and Google GOOG , issued its 2012 year in review report Friday. A few highlights: Although it lost market share in 2012 in terms of the number of smartphones and tablets sold, Apple is still the No. 1 manufacturer in Millennium’s ad platform and actually gained share (to 31.2% from 26.35%). Samsung came in No. 2 for the second year in a row. Although it grew faster than Apple (to 22.32% from 16.8%), its presence on the Web in terms of ad impressions is not keeping pace with its growth in units shipped. Amazon AMZN made it into Millennium’s top 15 for the first time in 2012. Its 1.08% share put it in 11th place.
