ServiceMax, a Pleasanton, Calif.-based provider of cloud-based, mobile and social field service applications, has raised $27 million in Series D funding. Crosslink Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Emergence Capital Partners, Mayfield Fund and Trinity Ventures. The company previously raised $25 million.

Betabrand, a San Francisco-based online clothing company that lets buyers participate in the design process, has raised $6.5 million in Series B funding led by Foundry

SnapVolumes Inc., a Los Altos, Calif.-based provider of application lifecycle management solutions, has raised $2.3 million in seed funding. Backers include TiE Angels of Silicon Valley and individuals like Kumar Malavalli (ex-Brocade), Sanjog Gad (SAP Labs) and Rob Thomas (Infoblox)
