LightSail Energy, a Berkley, Calif.-based developer of energy storage technology, has raised $37.3 million in Series D funding. Peter Thiel led the round, and was joined by Bill Gates, Innovacorp and return backer Khosla Ventures. www.lightsail.com

HubSpot, a Cambridge, Mass.-based provider of inbound marketing software, has raised $35 million in new VC funding. Altimeter Capital, Cross Creek Capital were among the new investors, while return backers included General Catalyst Partners, Matrix Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, Google Ventures, Salesforce.com and Charles River Ventures. The Boston Globe reports that Fidelity Investments also participated. HubSpot now has raised $100 million in total VC funding, and reports that its annualized revenue run rate is now $60 million. www.hubspot.com

Shanghai Jingfeng Pharmaceutical Co. has raised around $30 million in new VC funding led by Vivo Ventures, according to VentureWire. www.vivoventures.com

Kenshoo, a San Francisco-based provider of digital marketing software, has raised $12 million in new VC funding. Tenaya Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Sequoia Capital, Sequoia Growth Fund and Arts Alliance. www.kenshoo.com

Neo Technology
, a Swedish graph database operator, has raised $11 million in Series B funding.Sunstone Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Fidelity Growth Partners Europe and Conor Venture Partners. www.neotechnology.com
