PSA Peugeot Citroën of France said that it in talks to sell a 75% its logistics unit (Gefco) to J.S.C. Russian Railways for approximately €900 million (inclusive of a €100 million dividend to be paid to Peugeot by Gefco).

Mediafed, a London-based provider of RSS news feed monetization solutions, has agreed to acquireTaptu, a consumer apps and news aggregation platform with offices in the UK and Denver. No financial terms were disclosed. Taptu has raised around $18 million in VC funding from firms like 3i Group, Sofinnova Ventures and DFJ Esprit.

Saban Brands
 has acquired Zui, a San Diego–based provider of curated online content for children. No financial terms were disclosed. Zui backers have included Emergence Capital Partners, Maveron and Mission Ventures.

SingTel has agreed to acquire Pixable Inc., a New York-based social photo and video management tool, for $26.5 million. Pixable had raised over $6 million in VC funding from Highland Capital Partners and Menlo Ventures.

Onconova Therapeutics, a Newtown, Penn.-based drug developer, has entered into a European licensing agreement with Baxter International Inc. (NYSE:BAX) for an anti-cancer compound currently in a Phase III study for the treatment of a group of rare hematologic malignancies and in a Phase II/III study for pancreatic cancer. The deal could be valued at upwards of $565 million for Onconova, including a $50 million upfront payment. Baxter is an existing Onconova shareholder, alongside ICICI Ventures, Mehta Partners and Tinicum Partners.
