Rockwood Holdings (NYSE: ROC) has agreed to acquire Talison Lithium Ltd. (TSX: TLH), an Australia-based maker of lithium for batteries and smartphones, for approximately C$724 million.

Eastman Kodak Co. said that it plans to sell its personalized imaging and document imaging businesses, as part of its Chapter 11 reorganization. The company’s digital imaging patent portfolio remains on the block.

Roper Industries Inc. (NYSE: ROP) has completed its previously-announced $1.4 billion acquisition of Sunquest Information Systems Inc., a Tucson, Ariz.-based provider of diagnostic and laboratory software solutions to healthcare providers. Sellers included Huntsman Gay Global Capital and Vista Equity Partners.

Teledyne Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TDY) has acquired BlueView Technologies, a Seattle-based provider of sonar mapping technologies. Sellers included Alliance of Angels. No financial terms were disclosed. Headwaters MD managed the process.

Tornier NV (Nasdaq: TRNX) has agreed to acquire OrthoHelix Surgical Designs, a Medina, Ohio-based maker of surgical screws and other hand and foot surgical products. The deal is valued at $135 million in cash and stock ($100m/$35m split), plus possible earnouts. Sellers include Mutual Capital Partners and River Cities Capital Funds.
