Clearview Capital has acquired Battenfeld Technologies Inc., a Columbia, Mo.-based provider of shooting and hunting accessories. No financial terms were disclosed.

EQT Partners is nearing a deal to acquire luxury mobile phone brand Vertu from Nokia for around €200 million, according to Bloomberg. An earlier FT report had put Permira in the lead.

Hydraulex Global, a Chesterfield, Mich.-based repair and remanufacturer of hydraulic components, has acquired Memphis, Tenn.-based Flint Hydrostatics for an undisclosed amount. Stonebridge Partnersprovided growth capital to help finance the deal.

Message Systems, a Columbia, Md.-based provider of digital messaging technology, has raised an undisclosed amount of growth equity funding from LLR

NEPA Company Ltd., a South Korean retailer or outdoor apparel and equipment, has raised approximately $162 million in minority equity funding from Unitas Capital.

Norwest Equity Partners has acquired Pentech Holdings Inc., a Boothwyn, Penn.–based provider of specialty infusion services to patients outside of a hospital setting. No pricing terms were disclosed. Leveraged financing was provided by Norwest Mezzanine Partners, Madison Capital Funding, Golub Capital, Zions Bank and CIT Group. Sellers include DW Healthcare Partners, Frazier Healthcare and Pentec management.
