* Thanks to oversupply and competitive pricing, TVs are the cheapest they’ve ever been. It’s a situation that’s causing major problems for retailers and manufacturers, including significantly lower profits, and in Sony’s case, forcing the Japanese company to overhaul its TV operations. Google+ gained 12 million users this month, bringing the nascent social network’s total tally to 62 million. At this rate, Google+ could have 293 million users by the end  of 2012. (AllThingsD)

* If the numbers are any indication, there are a lot of happy consumers out there…  Christmas Day proved to be the best day ever for activation of Apple iOS and Google Androiddevices.
