USA Today‘s story about the trend notes stunning job losses for men: Through June, men have lost 74% of the 6.4 million jobs that have disappeared since the recession began in December 2007. Almost half those lost jobs were in construction and manufacturing. Giving women a lift: growth in health care, education and government.
